COYPED, MYS to Launch Elections Non-Violence Campaign



The project recognizes the potential that football and other sports can unleash when systematically included in processes of social change.


The Consolidated Youth for Peace & Development will organize three (3) days soccer tournaments in each of targeted communities targeting ten thousands youths especially marginalized and war affected youths age 18- 35 years old in ten (10) electoral district in Montserrado County. The Games feature friendly sporting events and soccer matches, along with educational presentations, music and cultural performances around themes dedicated to the objectives of the project, electoral nonviolence awareness campaign. The event is an opportunity for young people in Liberia to demonstrate their commitment to make their country a better and healthier place and to express their solidarity in the mission of national friendship, peaceful solutions and nonviolence.
